Short Update
We are gearing up for a new race and tourist season here at Vidda Runners! Both of our amazing handlers, Dre returning from Alaska for a second season and Hanjo joining us from Berlin, have both made it to Langfjordbotn! With our team complete, we have all been busy preparing the kennel for the coming winter snow. Little projects, like building a new puppy kennel, fire wood splitting, and sled repairs are nothing when you’ve got such great help around. Of course we are still trying to enjoy the fall sunshine too by relaxing by a fire or a friendly match of viking chess every now and then. Cool temperatures in the mornings and evenings are also allowing us to kick off the training season with short runs to get everyone back in shape. You can tell that the dogs are just as excited as us about the season. We’ve got a feeling that it’s going to be a great one!
