Husky - expedition

With our dog teams we cross the endless snowy scenery off the beaten track and only leave our own tracks in the untouched snow. Surrounded by majestic nature our senses enjoy the absolute quietness and beauty of the pure arctic.
On our expedition we are going to drive over many mountain lakes which hide delicious treasures underneath their thick layer of ice. We rest where we like to and wish for tight lines which, with some luck and patience, will bring fat trouts and samlets right into our frying pans. While the huskies work eagerly in front of the sled we continue our journey towards a magical land of ice and snow where one forgets time and space.

In the evening, after we fed the dogs, we relax in our cosy and warm tents. While sitting on reindeer skins and enjoying our freshly prepared trouts, we look back at the day´s happenings.
Finally we go to sleep, before we nestle down in our sleeping bags, we throw a glance outside and there it is! The magnificent northern lights illuminate the sky and set the cherry on top of this day.

This trip demands from all participants cooperativeness, comradeship and an active commitment for the providing of the dogs. This means that all dog team mushers are obliged to feed and water their dog team during the period of the trip. Additionally it is awaited to give a helping hand when the tent camp gets build up or removed. With your energetic help and support the expedition trip will truly become a success.
