Our dogs

Our dogs are Alaskan Huskies. Alaskans are not defined as a standardised breed, but a type of dog that has evolved from other breeds and types. This also explains the different variations of appearance of these dogs.

Alaskan Huskies were originally developed the United States and were bred there from; selected Hounds, Siberian Huskies, and local Village dogs. The result was a robust dog with a good appetite that loves to run. Our breeding program focuses on; a good appetite, tough feet, a thick undercoat and the legendary 'willingness to go' mental ability, primarily for long distance events.

In order to reach high standards of dog care and for the dogs to fulfill their full potential; we have a generous sized kennel providing the opportunity to exercise the dogs freely, feed quality 'vitamin enriched' fresh meat mixtures and salmon, whilst enlisting the support of various canine therapists and veterinarians as part of the team.
